Vacuum accessories can refer to parts attached to the vacuum to make cleaning easier. Vacuum accessories can also refer to replacement parts such as belts or fittings that wear out over time. Accessories can be purchased in retail stores, online or at vacuum specialty shops.

To help with sales for a new vacuum advertisers make note of vacuum accessories that are included with the main unit. These include extra hoses, nozzles, and attachments. Such accessories make cleaning hard-to-reach places easier.

When parts of a vacuum cleaner wear out, consumers should shop for vacuum accessories to replace them. For example, a vacuum belt typically wears out after a few years. As long as a consumer knows the model of the vacuum a belt can usually be replaced without difficulty.
