Vacuum Belts

Vacuum belts are part of the roller mechanism on a vacuum. They are necessary to allow the roller to pick up dug in dirt while the vacuum exerts suction power. Unfortunately, a vacuum belt can break over time.

When vacuum belts break the consumer does not have to purchase a new vacuum. The vacuum belts are sold for replacement by vacuum manufacturers. They can also be purchased from a third-party dealer.

Changing vacuum belts will not prove difficult for a do-it-yourselfer with above average skills. For those who need help or advice it would be wise to purchase the belt from a hardware store. That way they can pose questions to the sales representative.
