Vacuum Cleaners

Vacuum cleaners can pick up pet hair, dirt, and dust off the floor. Often times a housekeeper does not even need to use the broom to pick up debris. With the right settings a vacuum cleaner can be used on carpet, linoleum, or wood.

Use vacuum cleaners in your home at least twice a month for maintenance. Also, if there is a spill or mud tracked onto the floor bring out the vacuum immediately. If the dust or dirt is left sitting for too long it can settle into the bottom fibers of the carpet and cause permanent damage.

Stick vacuum cleaners are light weight and can be used for occasional maintenance. However, a vacuum with a roller should be employed at least once a month. This gets out dirt that may be dug in deeply.
